HI, IM ELLA.
I am a student at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Product Design with a minor in Fashion Studies. Shaped by the energy of New York and the conscious of Minneapolis, I aim to contribute to a distinct place in desing that balances bold visual storytelling with thoughtful precision.
My academic focuses ground my work in research, material exploration, and creative problem solving, while my professional experience expands upon what I learn and understand about design in practice. As both a part time student worker for multiple positions infusing art and fabrication, and a model with an international agency, I have gained a firsthand sensitivity to design factors like branding, composition, and visual identity.
Across all disciplines and passions of mine, I am driven by a psyche of design as a cultural force. I aim to create work that is thoughtful, material aware, and emotionally resonant: work that reflects the world as it is, and pushes toward what it could become.
